Dr. Jayadattpawar. G. Pawar has joined the Sakra family as an Associate Consultant – in GI & General Surgery.

He has completed his MBBS from the SS Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre, Davanagere. He has done his MS, in General Surgery from Navodaya Medical College & Research Institute, Raichur. He has also done his FNB, Minimal Access Surgery from Gem Hospital, Coimbatore.

He has varied experience in GI & General Surgery. This experience he has gathered by working in Organisations like Kasturba Medical College, Manipal; GB PANT Hospital, New Delhi, Sir Gangaram Hospital, New Delhi.

Qualification

• He completed his Bachelor of Medicine, and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in March 2012 from SSIMS & RC, DAVANGERE, KARNATAKA, under the auspices of RGUHS, Bangalore.
• Master of Surgery (M.S) in General Surgery in July 2017 from NAVODAYA MEDICAL COLLEGE & R C, RAICHUR, KARNATAKA, affiliated with RGUHS, Bangalore.
• Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in General Surgery in October 2018 from NBE, New Delhi.
• Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery (FMAS) was undertaken in December 2019, from Feb 2021 to Feb 2023 at GEM HOSPITAL, COIMBATORE. This program is recognized by AMASI, and he received certification as a Fellow of the National Board in Minimal Access Surgery (FNB) from the certifying authority, NBE BOARD, NEW DELHI.
• Completed Robotic Console training MEDTRONIC HUGO RAS [Robotic System] - June 2023.
• Successfully completed “Essential surgical skills course” in CEMAST, Mumbai on December 12th, 2015. (MMC accredited course). 
• Worked for a period of 1 month each in KIDWAI & NIMHANS in surgical oncology and neurosurgery respectively as a part of peripheral postings. 
• Worked in the Dept of Surgical Oncology, KMC Manipal performing and assisting major oncological surgeries such as RPLND, MRM, Head and neck surgeries with flaps. 
• Worked in Dept of Gastrosurgery, GB PANT Hospital, New Delhi performing and assisting major surgeries like Splenectomy, Gastrectomy, Radical cholecystectomy, Anterior resection, and Whipple’s procedure.
