Dr. Raghavendra Kembhavi is a highly experienced Orthopaedic Surgeon with over 14 years of clinical experience after completing his postgraduation. He completed his MS Orthopaedics from JIPMER, Puducherry, one of India’s most prestigious tertiary care medical institutes, in April 2011. He further pursued his Senior Residency at JIPMER from May 2011 to November 2013, gaining extensive exposure to both trauma and complex orthopaedic conditions.
During his training at JIPMER, Dr. Kembhavi managed high patient volumes in outpatient clinics, conducted daily ward rounds for 36 inpatients, and handled regular emergency duties. His experience spans comprehensive orthopaedic care, including trauma management and elective orthopaedic procedures. He has independently performed a wide range of trauma surgeries and assisted in advanced spine, joint replacement, tumour, and deformity correction surgeries.
Following his residency, he joined Sri Lakshmi Narayana Institute of Medical Sciences, Puducherry, as an Assistant Professor in December 2013. In this role, he continues to be actively involved in patient care, independent surgical practice, undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, and academic research. He has multiple publications and conference presentations to his credit.
Currently, Dr. Kembhavi is extensively involved in advanced arthroscopic and joint replacement surgeries, offering comprehensive orthopaedic care with a patient focused approach.
