Dr. Caranj S. Venugopal is an expert Urologist from Bangalore with broad experience in Urology, Endourology, Kidney Transplant and Laparoscopic Urology. After completing his MBBS and MS (General Surgery) from Dr. N T R University of Health Sciences, he further pursued M.Ch (Urology) from MAHER. Before joining Sakra, he has worked as a Urologist and Kidney Transplantation surgeon in St. John’s Medical College Hospital, a premier high volume tertiary care hospital in Bangalore.

He has undergone specialised training in Kidney transplantation at the renowned Institute of Kidney Diseases and Research Centre (IKDRC), Ahmedabad. A centre that does the highest number of kidney transplants per year in the world. He has also undergone training in Laparoscopic Urology at Kochi.
